What is the MediaCD Configuration Editor?

MediaCD 2.0 uses what is called a configuration file to allow customization of colors, background image, icon, window size, file formats, and more. The Configuration Editor lets you easily create your own custom configuration.

The Configuration Editor allows you to create, open, save, edit, and preview customization files. It utilizes a form-based user interface, through which you can specify custom settings or choose to use the default settings instead.

The Samples folder, inside the MediaCD installation folder (i.e., C:\Program Files\MediaCD) includes three sample configurations. These samples demonstrate the customization capabilities of MediaCD. Open them up with the Configuration Editor and take a look at the range of options available to you. Note: The samples contain zero-length audio and video files; they do not actually play, but are displayed for demonstration purposes.
